Patsi Davis, RN, CGRN, Medical Practice Administrator
Athens Digestive (ADHA) is proud to have Patsi Davis, RN (Registered Nurse) and the first and most experienced CGRN (Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse) in Northeast Georgia as recognized by the SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates). She is an Athens, Georgia native but has traveled and lived around the world growing up in a military family. She earned her nursing degree at Florida State College in Jacksonville, Florida before returning to Athens and has been an active RN for the past 35 years. During that time, she was the Surgical Director for a very busy local urology practice.
Not getting the fulfillment she was after, she took a job in the endoscopy center at Athens Regional Medical Center (ARMC). Here she honed in her gastroenterology clinical skills and showed the gumption needed striving to be a great endoscopy nurse. She enhanced her skills and qualifications by becoming a trained and certified CGRN nurse thus ensuring that you as a patient are receiving the best nursing care in the Athens area. Patsi met Dr. Qadri while working at ARMC , and he was so impressed with her that he had no hesitation in offering her the job of endoscopy director at his place of work. A few years later, Dr. Qadri opened up Athens Digestive and without dithering, Patsi joined him. She has been with ADHA since its birth and has been an effective and efficient leader in the practice.
Patsi arrived to ADHA with very high qualifications with her medical background but it became apparent that she also has the logistics, business intelligence and common sense needed to run a business and medical practice all in one. She functions as the Practice Administrator for Athens Digestive (clinical practice) as well as the Clinical Administrator of Athens Digestive Endoscopy Center (surgical practice).
When Patsi is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, random trivia and traveling with her husband. She also finds time to enjoy the company of her two beautiful yet energetic grandsons. She is the pillar of trust and loyalty that Dr. Qadri is proud to work hand in hand with thus ensuring the excellent practice philosophy and integrity needed to practice medicine for the wonderful people of Athens, Oconee County and NE Georgia.
